I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Kinetica Art Fair over the weekend which was a thrilling experience. It’s always nice to see technology and art overlapping and there was a lot of that happening at Kinetica!

The official blurb was:

Kinetica Art Fair is produced by Kinetica Museum and is the first of its kind in the UK. It brings together galleries, art organisations and curatorial groups from around the world who focus on universal concepts and evolutionary processes though the convergence of kinetic, electronic, robotic, sound, light, time-based and multi-disciplinary new media art, science and technology.

Here are some photos from the event:

And a short video of some of the exhibits on display:

One of the highlights of the day for me was this little curiosity: A small bit of
wonderful... (Photo by Rain Ashford, who also had some lovely projects on display. She is also infinitely better at taking close-up shots of small items than me!)

It’s an Ohm’s Law Badge created by fellow OSHW aficionado Andrew Back. He was kind enough to give me one so Andrew, if you’re reading this, thanks again :)
